Common Work At Home Success Characteristics

Do people that are successful in home based businesses share
some common characteristics and, if so, what are the primary
ones?

The dictionary defines successful as:

*having a favorable outcome, or
*having obtained something desired or intended, or
*having achieved wealth or eminence

When applied to a home business, I think the definition of the
word successful involves a combination of financial gain, time
flexibility, and being able to call your own shots (being your
own boss). The order of importance will vary from person to
person.

I have had the good fortune to be quite successful with
home-based internet businesses. No, that is not completely
accurate, I have had success because I have invested a lot of
sweat equity in my work at home business activities.

Having spent many years in the corporate world, I am a firm
believer in the team aspect of business and so I naturally
gravitated toward network marketing instead of trying to go
solo selling products/services and competing with the big players
like Yahoo, Amazon and the other well known names.

After doing considerable research, I found a very well
established and financially solid internet-based company to work
with. Using my business experience in the "offline world" and
developing my internet marketing skills on the fly in an OJT
(aka: on-the-job-training) format, things have gone very well and
I recently spent some time trying to identify some of the primary
traits that are common in my most successful team members.

Whether you're breeding bird dogs, or race horses, or drafting
college football players to play in the NFL...it's important to
develop "markers" that can be very useful in predicting success.
From my offline, traditional, business experience I have known
this from the get-go, but for some reason I was slow to learn
(or, was it re-learn?) that identifying the people with a high
likelihood of success is even more important when developing an
online network marketing business that depends upon teamwork.

Reflecting back on many of the truly successful people I have
worked with in network marketing, I made a list of the numerous
success factors that emerged when I assessed each person
individually. After compiling the list, three factors seemed to
stand out as being the most common success indicators. In no
particular order, these factors were:

*approaching the business with a long term perspective. It
often takes a long time to become an "overnight success"

*exhibiting the tenacity of a pit bull

*being able to ride the emotional roller coaster (two steps
forward and one step back) in the early stages of developing
the business

Just because a person has these characteristics, it does not
ensure success and, on the flip side, a person is not necessarily
doomed to failure just because he or she does not possess all
three of them.

However, they are not wrong for behaving that way because they are in the online business to sell their products and not to
train you to become an online expert.

For those who already possess the necessary online advertising knowledge, they can simply join any online business opportunity and start selling for the companies.

However, for those who are NEW to the online selling world, it is WISE to choose an Online Business that teaches you HOW
to operate a successful work at home business and achieve self-employment.

When I first started my Online Business, I thought it was simple and easy to make online money and when I saw any business
opportunity that pays, I just joined. As you guessed, I ended up not making any money.

As James Allen, quoted, I was foolish indeed. Of course, I didn't gave up my self-employment dreams and continue to
research the various business opportunity available across the NET.

Eventually, I settled for ONE that was cater for NEW Online entrepreneur like me as I believe that a constant hammering on
ONE nail will generally drive it home at last, so that it can be clinched.

It took me a couple of years to learn the online trade (as I am also holding a Full Time job at that time) and SELF DISCIPLE
as to ensure that I spend time enough time reading and APPLYING the online marketing materials provided by the company every week WITHOUT failed.

I am quite happy with my online progress and still consider myself as a learner.

Failure is not permanent TILL you give up.

Five Ways to Kill Your Home Business

I know it is better to be positive than negative. But speaking from experience sometimes you can do things that are bad for your home business without realizing it. You might even think you are doing the right thing when in fact you are hurting your online business. So here are some "top 5" ways you can throw your work-from-home opportunity down the drain (and how to avoid doing so):

1) Have no plan, vision or goals.
Sure, you may find success in your home business by accident. But you are more likely to keep your online business alive (and have it grow) by setting some direction. Besides, without a plan and destination how would you even know if you achieved success? Do some dreaming about what you would like your home based business to be in 2 years. Then set some attainable but challenging goals based on your vision. With your goals in mind, chart a plan for your home business.

2) Do nothing.
"If you build it, they will come." Wrong - who told you that? One of the most frequent mistakes made by newcomers to online business is the belief that if they can just build a nice looking website then they will earn money. Of course some marketing ploys feed on that assumption, luring Internet marketing rookies to purchase the only website they will ever need. Just like an offline business, your online opportunity does not usually sell itself. You need to somehow bring potential customers or clients to your business website. This takes hard work, consistency and determination to succeed.

3) Do too much.
You can't do too much of the right things. But please do not mistake activity for progress! I hear this all the time: "I spend xx hours a week at my computer and not one sale!" Quality not quantity, people. There are some promotional activities such as writing home business articles (hey, like I'm doing here!) and networking politely in business forums that you can never do too much of. But some marketing tools can be over used and actually harm your home based business. Examples: submitting too frequently to some search engines or blasting customer support with an endless line of similar requests.

4) Join everything.
If it is free to join, why not? Affiliate marketers especially are always on the lookout for the next great business opportunity. What happens, however, is that unless the business opportunity somehow compliments your primary home based business then you are going to end up spreading your efforts thin. Choose programs to join that provide you with marketing leverage or which will enhance what you are offering without providing unwanted competition. The other danger with free progams is that once you join there may very well be an "upgrade opportunity" that you will find difficult to pass up. Be sure that this is what you want before you click on the payment button...all those free programs upgraded adds up soon!

5) Spend lots of money on advertising.
This is a tough one. You would think that the people who spend the most money get the most traffic to their websites and therefore earn the most money. While this may be true, how much are you willing to spend to have the kind of traffic volume to your business opportunity that is going to pay off? It is really hard to tell. The best advice I can give you is to take it slow. Track the results of every advertising campaign so that you can assess how effective the method or ad itself is. If you do not track your marketing then you might just be throwing money down the drain. Spend too much too fast and you might soon find it difficult to keep your home based business running. You might even adversely affect your current lifestyle by piling up bills that you can't pay because the website advertising you chose is not bringing you a good return on investment.

There are other things that can help your home business become successful or kill it. And these may not be the "top 5" for you. Just listing these made me think of another 5 that have probably hurt my own home business. Time to make some adjustments!

Opportunity has strange ways of presentation. While you may search heavily for it everywhere, it will stand there silently, waiting to be found. It will not knock your door or pat on your back to grab your attention.

It will stand there; appear in disguise waiting for you to recognize it and lift the veil from its face. It demands action from you, yet it won’t give the slightest hint of its existence. Why?

A man who seeks opportunity will eventually find one. When, how and where entirely depends on the sharpness of the seeker. Opportunities are already there. If we are not conscious, we don’t see one. Only when we start becoming conscious , we start finding one.

Recently a friend of mine critically asked me “If home business on the net can bring so much wealth and freedom to oneself how come everybody is not sitting at home and earning”.

He was trying to negate that money can be earned by online business. I tried to explain him about online earning but he was not ready to accept the reason.

“I think that is wastage of time.” He completely rejected me.

He was not conscious of the fact and he could not be subjected to reason.

Well! Then home business is not for him.

First step to find an opportunity is to believe that it exists. One must accept that it is there. Then one must become conscious of home business’ money earning potential.

When you become conscious of something you start noticing that in abundance. If you are not conscious of something you can’t see that even surrounding are full of it.

That is law of nature.

Nature has designed things in this fashion to avoid the revelation to the unprepared and thus unworthy.

The opportunity can only be used by able. One who can recognize the opportunity and acts to tap it is an able man. Other kinds either will not find the chance or let it pass without utilization.

Home business on the net has produced millionaires. Countless people started with limited resources and now earn unlimited wealth. What did they do?

They recognized an opportunity and took action. They had eyes for the opportunity and audacity for taking an action. That is what makes them stand apart in addition to the wealth they have made.

They were able.

Taking an action is second step for tapping the opportunity. Action taking is must if you want to get yields from opportunity. Otherwise the opportunity is as good as no opportunity.

Opportunity for home based business would always remain. With internet expanding at such a fast pace, potential of home business is much more than ever.

But only those seek with conviction and vision would find one.

7 Ways To Get Financing For Your Home Business

equity on your home is permitted in all states except Texas.
Just make sure you're diligent about paying back the loan or

6. If you're a woman, you may be eligible for a Specialty
Loan. These types of loans are now being offered by local
banks. Who knows? Filling out a one-page application just
might get you an unsecured credit line or loan ranging from

7. Try borrowing from family members and/or relatives. If

can make a persuasive argument for them to loan you money

Diary of Beginning Home Business Entrepreneur Part 1

Hello entrepreneurs. I have been in business for about 3 months. I started my business to become rich and get out of my job. The current job position I hold is a computer network teacher in a medium-sized School District. I want out of this position because I know I can do much better. If you are starting or thinking about starting a home business then you know exactly how I feel. If you are a beginner in a home business, I would like you to know that things will be rough. But you can get through the rough times to reap the rewards.

Reason

As I stated earlier, I have been in business for about three months. I am still waiting for the profits to come in. Why am I still working in my business? I continue working on my business because of the reward. I want to be rich. I also enjoy being home with my children in the summer. After dealing with the my children this summer, I am going to enjoy working at home ALONE during the school year.

Business Type

As you should know, the only why to become rich is to be your own boss. The only way to become your own boss is to start your own business. The real question is what type of business should you start. Should you start a franchise, consultant, home business, or investing. Home businesses are easier and less costly to start. Also, home businesses can be run very effectively on the Internet.

It is very important for you to select the correct business to be in. I have started several other businesses in the past. None of them were correct for me. Hence, I did not put forth enough energy, effort, etc. to make them successful. Let me give you several examples:

My first business was a business to business selling. I was not a good salesperson nor did I want to be. Thus the business was destined to fail.

The second business was an Internet-based business. I did not put in the funds nor learn enough to market the business. Thus this business was destined to fail.

For this reason, I am stressing that you determine the best business for yourself. As I mentioned earlier, I have decided on a home based business. Why? I want the idea of being able to stay home. A Major Temptation When Developing A Home-Based Business

From what I have seen and experienced, to quit is the greatest
temptation during the first year of working at a home-based
business. If smoking was like working at a home-based business,
the occurence of lung cancer would be dramatically reduced.

It is a known fact that a majority of the people that undertake
a work at home business do not achieve real success. There are
several reasons for this, but one of the primary reasons is that
these people get frustrated and do not allow themselves enough
time to succeed.

In the early going, one of the most difficult things about
developing a new home based business is dealing with the emotional
roller coaster that can result from the highs (successes) and lows
(temporary setbacks) you are almost certain to experience. Once
you have done the research and decided on a particular home based
business opportunity, you really need to focus on persistence and
realize that any real business will not just automatically become
successful in a matter of days or weeks. You should be prepared to
give it your best sustained effort for at least 6 to 12 months in
order to begin to build a solid business base and begin to see
some good income.

Highs and lows were something that I began to notice when I first
started a home based business. I have many years of top level
management experience in "traditional" corporations and have
experienced lots of business cycles (corporate "ups and downs"),
but the natural "ups and downs" that occur in a home business
(particularly in the early stages) can be brutal from an
emotional standpoint if you don't prepare yourself in advance for
the fact that it is a basic law of nature...it will be a rocky
road until you have spent enough time and effort to build your
business to a level that sort of smoothes out the peaks and
valleys.

The impact of the highs and lows you will probably experience in
developing your home based business is amplified by the fact that
you are now in business on your own. You are the boss and get to
make all the decisions, but you are also on your own in dealing
with the frustrations that will occur along the way while you are
developing your business.

When working at home a person can, at times, experience a feeling
of isolation which is probably brought on by the lack of
interaction of a work force environment.

There can also be periods of doubt in the early going...gee, did
I pick a viable business opportunity?...am I doing the right
things to develop my business?...when will I start making a
profit?, and so on.

You are most likely going to experience the "two steps forward
and one step backward" syndrome and the ever-looming temptation
to become discouraged. However, keep in mind that as long
as you have more steps going forward than backward, you will
eventually get ahead! Simple, but often overlooked.

Relatively minor setbacks can seem huge in the early stages of
developing a work at home business and can really contribute to
some noticeable "mood swings". For example, if you are just
starting out and you have four customers/clients and you happen
to lose one...that's a 25% drop! However, if you fast-forward in
time to the point where you have hundreds of customers/clients
and you lose one...that's just a mere fraction of 1%! Exactly
the same event, just at a different point in time.

Hang in there and just keep on keepin' on. If you have chosen a
viable home business opportunity (one that has been around for
awhile and in which some other people are having success) you
will achieve success, but it takes time and there will be ups and
downs along the way. Remember the old saying..."it takes a long
time to become an overnight success".

make a purchase by someone in Europe.

growing market as more and more people come online everyday.

10 It's dress down day everyday. You can work in your pyjamas if you

A Home Based Business Means Quick, Easy Money...And Pigs Will Fly

Yup, here come those wonderful flying pigs!

Where does it ever end? I've been involved with Internet-based
home businesses for several years and I continue to be exposed to
a seemingly endless barrage of offers (all costing me money, of
course) claiming to be "the secret" for making a fantastic income,
in a very short time, and with very little effort involved.

I must admit that I may have a slightly self-serving reason for
addressing this topic. My articles are published on my
home-based business websites for the purpose of trying to give
prospective team members a true sense of what is really involved
with starting and developing a successful home based business.
The self-serving part, I suppose, is that I want people joining
my team to have the straight scoop going in so that we don't
waste each other's time. I admit to being selfish in this
regard (I don't want to waste time working with people that have
unrealistic expectations), but it is also very efficient for
both parties involved, so it is not a totally one-way thing.

Now, back to the topic at hand. There's no magic here, folks.
Once you have selected the home business that you are going to
pursue, there are no substitutes for time and effort in
developing your business. A dream of being an "overnight
success" is just that, a dream.

I can tell you from personal experience, that once you "pay your
dues" and begin to have real success with a home based business,
it is really terrific. Think about Nirvana or Valhalla, take
your pick, but in any event it's really sweet.

When I started developing a home based business, making a good
income was obviously an objective, but I also had other
sub-objectives. One of the most important things was to have
nearly total time flexibility (I mean, if I was willing to
continue to wear the 9-5 Mon-Fri collar I could just have just
stayed in the previously "traditional" work force).

Time flexibility was (and still is) a "biggie" for me. Many
people working at home have the same need for various reasons.
For work at home moms, a home business can be a real godsend to
accommodate the hectic time pressures, particularly when the kids
are quite young and mom is also spelled "transportation".

In my own particular case, the reason is not quite so noble...I
just want (need?) to be able to pick up my fly rod and go fishing
at a moments notice (sometimes I'll be gone for a week or two at
a time, but now the business has enough momentum that it keeps on
operating just as well as if I were here tending to it on a
daily basis).

Bear in mind, I am only able do the breakaway thing now that I
have put in all the up-front time and effort and now have
developed enough kinetic energy in my home-based Internet
business to be able to enjoy the fruits of my labor.

Have you spent months, maybe even years, looking for a way to make a living from home on the internet? If you are only considering what is commonly referred to as a "free home business", you are likely to be looking for a long time to come. You can avoid wasting more time and effort by understanding the realities of running an internet home business.

The mentality of getting something for nothing will put an end to any dreams of working for yourself you may have. So will the need for immediate gratification. By keeping these thoughts out of your mind, you greatly increase your chances of running a successful internet home business well into the future.

Let's start out by looking at the idea of a free home business. This would be a home business that you could start and run without spending a dime. You see many different kinds of businesses every day, both internet web sites and real world businesses in your neighborhood. Can you think of just one real business that can be started with no investment and requires no money to operate? You can't because there aren't any.

And spending months of your personal time to set up and run even the most basic small business (that may or may not make any sales) is still costing you money. Yes, your time is a valuable asset that does have monetary value, just as it does when you spend it working for someone else. The fact is that you cannot replace the time you have already used. But you can make more money. You cannot make more time.

If you are not willing to spend money to start and build your home business, you are involved with a hobby, not a business. Establishing priorities for your personal and business spending habits is your first important task. This will allow you to treat your internet home business like a business, not a hobby. Since your initial cash flow may be small, your initial growth will be slower. But having your internet home business started and running is essential. You can't grow a business that doesn't exist. If you can then delay your gratification by putting most of your revenue back into the business, your business will slowly grow into a profitable money maker.

By delaying gratification, you are demonstrating that you can focus on the big picture, your long term future. This is an essential small business mindset that will allow you to eventually get what you want. Any money you spend on advertising your product or service should be focused on the long term, too. But In most cases during the process of implementation they find out that things aren't Going the way they've expected.

So what do they do?
Some of them spend a lot of money buying leads, e-books, internet marketing courses and so on.

One essential element that makes these tools work for you and bring results is simply this: a decision to dedicate yourself to your goal.

The best way for me to explain the state of being dedicated is by the following example:
Imagine you make a decision to climb a very high and steep mountain.
While climbing you reach a point where you feel it is too difficult to go on and there is no way you're going to reach the top.
You think about giving up and going back down, but you notice there is very bad weather and you must reach the top.
Well, I bet you will find a way to reach the top knowing there is no other option. Out of nowhere new energies, ideas and strategies start popping up.
Eventually you would write an e book about how to climb mountains and reaching the top.

The point I am trying to make here is this:
When you set a goal don't allow yourself the option to back down because this is the only way to reach a state of being dedicated and eventually reaching your goal.
To build and maintain a successful home business you have to be in a state of dedication.
This means that there is no such thing as failure and no way to back down from your decision.

E books, internet marketing courses, leads, ppc advertising, ezine and so on are the tools you use to build you're home business.
When you integrate those tools with your unrelenting desire to build a successful home business you become unstoppable.
Then you become a powerful internet marketing machines.

So before going back to look for more leads, new ppc engines, classified adds, new software's and so forth…..
Be honest and ask yourself:
Am I dedicated to my home business? Am I willing to give it everything I've got without thinking of the possibility of going back?

As 2005 dawns on earth I am quite thoughtful. Many persons started their business in 2004. Some succeeded and some left disappointed.

This New Year would bring many new home entrepreneurs to the net. How many of them would continue with what they started? How many would leave disappointed and disgruntled? How many of them would become a source of inspiration for others in waiting? How many would detest many others just because they failed.

I hear crackers bursting as people welcome New Year with full celebrations.

For those who have left, I feel sorry. They have left a road to wealth, richness and freedom from daily grind.

For those who are about to begin, I extend my welcome. 2005 is predicted to be the best year till date for home business. Equally for those who are making millions right now or just starting.

Whatever kind of business you are in, wherever you are from, home business will make you rich.

The reason many people do not start a home business is because they think they can’t do it. The reason why people leave it is because they expect instant results.

Every body knows good fruits take time to yield. It is same with your home business.

Whether you plan to sell your own products or join affiliate programmes, patience and perseverance is the name of the game. You must maintain your efforts. Give your business time to mature. Otherwise one falls into traps of frustration and frustrated man cannot think clearly.

Clarity of thought is must for success.

In the course of my home business coaching activities, I have
often found that people head into the startup of their online
home based businesses with a wildly unrealistic mindset.

Many have been told that they can sign up for a few programs,
build a website around them, add a bunch of banners and links
onto their site, then sit back and watch the money roll in and
never have to work again.

There is a misconception that you can come online and set up an
Internet based business and be making big money within a few
days. This is absolute hogwash and it has not been my experience
nor the experience of anyone I have come in contact with through
my online business activities.

The harsh reality is that there are more people who fail at their
home businesses than there are people who actually succeed.

Newcomers to the world of online home based business are not
usually aware that they may actually have to work harder at their
home businesses than they did at their traditional jobs. They are
typically not aware of the many hours of marketing time that they
will need to put in to be successful.

Many people that are new to online marketing also make the
mistake of thinking that a single marketing strategy will
suffice. Naturally, some avenues will produce better results
than others, but I have found the best course of action is to
adopt a broad based approach to your online marketing by
spreading your time and resources over several different methods.

If you are new to Internet marketing, you might be well advised
to take a course to find out what is required of you to be
successful in an online business. It does not matter what type of
business you are starting, if it is online, it must be marketed
online, and possibly offline as well.

It always amazes me how frequently people that start an online
home based business actually believe that they can get rich by
doing absolutely nothing, or at least with very little effort.
These are otherwise intelligent people. Why would they believe
this? My conclusion is that they believe because they want to
believe. They believe because they see claims to this effect
everyday and everywhere on the Internet. They are told that it is
possible. They not only want to believe it, for their own
reasons, but they need to believe it.

In my opinion, you need to give yourself at least a year to make
an online business get some traction and start to generate some
meaningful income. The proper mindset is to think long term,
not instant gratification.

I am always surprised at the number of people who drop out of
their online home based business after the first month or two.
I ask myself, what do they expect, miracles? You probably
wouldn't bail out of offline business after a month so why would
you expect an online business to be any different?

Aside from the fallacy of instant riches without any effort,
the expectation of a free ride is a frequent misconception of
many that think they want to start an online home based business.
If you're afraid, or unwilling, to invest a little money to start
your own business...you are not looking at a home based
business...you are looking at a work at home job. If you want to
make money online, you must also be willing to invest in
yourself. It's as plain and simple as that.

Home Business For Frugal People

I have proved that anyone can make money on the internet without having to spend a fortune. I have recently been introduced to the Plug in Profit Site. I bought the package, hooked, line, and sinker. I still can not believe that I bought this package it is totally out of character for me. I hate to spend money. I figured that it takes money to make money right? So why not!

*What it did cost me was 60 bucks to get my website up and running.

What I did not realize was that the program (The 30 day course) wanted me to shell out big bucks to promote my “money making website”.

Maybe if I would have spent the thousand dollars as suggested, I may have gotten my first customer allot sooner. I may even be making one thousand dollars a week by now … But I’m cheap I did not shell out the big bucks. What I did do was simple and pretty cheap, and pretty darn effective. I did the following 5 things.

1. I have written articles and submitted them.
2. I have submitted my URL to the search engines for free.
3. I have dropped a few lines in blogs, and forums with a link to my website
4. I have a few Google Adword ads posted. ( I used low cost keywords)
5. The easiest thing I do is add a SIG file to all my emails.( do it, it’s free!)

Most marketers do not use a SIG file. Why? I do not know, not my problem. But I use my SIG file in all of my emails. You know those annoying forward emails, that your friends and family, send to you on a daily bases. I used to hate those things, but now I love them. Why? because I forward them to everyone in my address book, and yup, you guessed it! I use My Signature file. You would be surprised on how far those crazy emails can go. They are like the Energizer bunny they keep going and going; with my SIG file :-). At the end of all of my emails you will see my SIG file.

An Online Home Based Business Is Not Rocket Science

A few years ago when I first started my online home business I
didn't have a clue regarding how to go about it. I had never
done any Internet marketing, and didn't know anything about
websites or search engines or any of that other online business
stuff...in short, I was a complete rookie.

In retrospect, the
two major things that really helped me was that I refused to be
intimidated and I kept a realistic perspective (both in terms of
initial financial results and the time frame necessary to become
successful).

I know from my own years of experience that relatively few
business ventures are started on the Internet by people with
the experience, motivation, determination, backing, and support
that it takes to even have a reasonable chance of success.

Real online business people are those who work hard, who immerse
themselves deeply in marketing and advertising, and who put in
long hours in the beginning in order to see their Internet-based
businesses succeed.

Achieving success in an online business is not difficult to
comprehend. There is indeed a learning curve, but it's not brain
surgery. The process of learning isn't as much the issue as are
the personal traits of motivation and determination.

Develop your marketing plan and execute it. There's no magic in
this online home based business stuff. We're talking real world
here. It's not nearly as romantic as winning the lottery, yet
many of the thousands of people I have helped to start up their
home businesses on the Internet clearly came in with what I have
come to refer to as the "magic/lottery" mentality. Many of those
folks went off to chase another rainbow after a few months, but

A key point to always keep in mind is that...business is
business. Regardless of whether you are on the Internet or
operating a business in a shopping mall. The same
fundamental principles apply to both businesses.

1) You need to have a product, or products, to sell.

2) You need to advertise to get customers to buy your
products.

3) You need to provide support to your customers who buy
your products as a result of your advertising efforts.

4) You need to build a loyal customer following, so you can
maintain a profitable business over a period of time.

Many people fall into the trap of believing that because
they are doing business on the Internet, some of these steps
can either be skipped or they need to overemphasize one area
or another.

The bottom line regarding an online business is that you will
need to advertise and you will need to take care of your
customers.

Run your online home business just like a real company
because it is, in fact, a real business and you have a real
opportunity to either be successful or to fail. The primary
difference between an online business and a traditional
business is location (no traditional "storefront"). Nearly
everything else is essentially the same. You have products
and your objective is to sell those products to people who
want/need your products.

for a while knows...this simply is not true, but it is often
the reason people get frustrated and quit. The fact of the
matter is that you need to diligently promote/advertise your
website in order for your online home based business to
flourish and prosper.

One of the most important bits of advice that I can pass on to
you is that you must be patient. Most people start their online
home business with great enthusiasm and high expectations. Often,
after a few months, they become disappointed and frustrated
because they are not already making a large amount of money.

These impatient home business entrepreneurs then often start to
jump from one program to another every few months (never allowing
themselves enough time to succeed at any of them) and, finally,
throw up their hands in frustration and declare that they just
can’t make money online.

Stick with your business and don’t give up. Dogged persistence
(much like the tenacity of a pit bull) is an absolutely vital key
to your eventual success. Don’t give up when things become
frustrating and you are not achieving the immediate success you
expected. Give your online home based business sufficient time to
develop and you realize the success you are seeking.

There is nothing magical about running an online home based
business. It should be run the same as any traditional "bricks
and mortar" business and it will succeed or fail depending on
the time and effort you put into it.

There are many very ordinary people working at home and making a

Money Making and the Family Guy

This article is for the guys and perhaps those who want to understand them a little better. Within almost every guy is a natural inclination to provide for his family. There are exceptions of course, but for the most part the guy still has the desire to provide well for his family. This typical 'Guy' will assume the pressures of the monthly bills and the pressures of keeping his family healthy and safe.

As 'Guy' ages he begins to think of retirement and or college education for his children. He does what he can, but most often never really feels as if he's done enough. The pressure mounts.

His family will generally tell you that he is a great provider, but 'Guy' doesn't really believe this to be true. He will typically believe that if he were a great provider he would be able to meet the future needs of his family as well as the current ones. From his vantage point he may consider himself a failure.

Sometimes without realizing it he shifts into overdrive and takes on longer hours to compensate.

It's at this juncture that many families become concerned about 'Guy' because they automatically assume he doesn't want to be around the family and that accounts for the overtime and lack of physical presence within the family.

In many cases 'Guy' does not view what he is doing as abandonment he is simply trying his best to shoulder his own perception of the financial pressures he encounters.

This is one of the reasons I like to talk about moneymaking ideas from the perceptive of a family affair. 'Guy" is motivated to meet present and future financial commitments and is often the stabilizing force in financial ideas that involve the entire family.

A family run moneymaking idea can allow the man to do something meaningful to contribute to the family needs while giving his family the opportunity to be engaged with their 'Guy'.

Increasingly women are feeling a similar pressure especially if they are single parents. However, what needs to be known is that the primary motivator for overworking has to do with the inborn desire to make life better for others.

'Guy' will typically consider himself a successful parent and husband if he can just bring in a little more cash while the wife may not harbor those same feelings. She may consider 'Guy' to be successful if he's around to play with the kids or eat a meal with the family.

I think if husbands and wives understood what motivates the other to do the things they do they would find more common ground. The role of a family money making idea can be instrumental in allowing the man to become an improved provider while allowing the wife to feel that her 'Guy' is engaged in family life a bit more.

I'm certain it is an overstatement, but I believe a lot of family strife could be avoided if a husband and wife were to move forward with a wealth enhancement idea together with a better understanding of why each responds the way they do.
